Meet Pig Pen, a charming young dog currently with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas. With a head like a cinderblock and a contagious grin, he wiggled his way into our hearts by jumping right into our truck when he saw our team. Pig Pen arrived needing some TLC, showcasing a few healing wounds on his ears and in quest of a few more pounds to fill out his sturdy frame. He tips the scales at around 60 lbs and has some muscle to spare. Despite his size, he believes he’s a lapdog and will gladly keep you company, leaning in close to ensure you never have personal space. Although we haven't officially tested him with resident dogs yet, Pig Pen showed he can socialize well with a small pack when found roaming the streets. He's not yet met any cats — but we can arrange a cat-test if you're curious. Smart and eager to please, he’ll thrive in a household that can keep him mentally and physically active.
