Although not house trained yet, she gets along well with dogs, cats, and older children. Sienna comes with up-to-date vaccinations and is looking for a patient family who can help her grow.

About Sienna

Meet Sienna, a charming dog who will capture your heart for a lifetime. Sienna is a beautiful young lady with a gentle, sensitive spirit. Unlike some dogs who rush to greet every newcomer, she prefers to take her time, quietly observing her surroundings until she feels secure. Once Sienna knows she can trust you, her sweet and loyal nature shines, and she seeks closeness with those she loves. Witnessing Sienna's confidence grow has been a joy for our volunteers. Every small step—like a wagging tail or a moment of play—is a significant victory. She's discovering that the world can be safe, and she needs a family to continue that journey with her. Given her sensitive nature, Sienna thrives in calm, predictable environments and would be best suited for adults or families with older children (9+). She responds well to patience and gentle encouragement and will reward your support with unwavering loyalty. Sienna is particularly fond of other dogs and draws confidence from their presence. A home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog could be the perfect match for her. Her new family will benefit from a complimentary four-week basic obedience program through Sublime K9 in Jefferson City, focusing on leash skills and building a strong bond. Sienna isn't looking for a perfect family—she just wants a patient one. If you understand that building trust is key, you might find helping this shy dog blossom into her true self is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever have. When Sienna realizes she's home, she'll be your best friend for life. Are you the loving person Sienna has been waiting for?
