About Cowboy

Meet Cowboy, a charming young pup ready to find his forever home! Recently rescued, Cowboy was born into a litter of pups after his mom, a stray, was brought to safety. At just 5 months old and currently weighing around 45 pounds, he has plenty of room to grow into a medium to large-sized dog. Cowboy is a bundle of joy who gets along famously with everyone he meets, including dogs, cats, and children. His foster family describes him as affectionate and playful, with a lovable personality that shines through. Cowboy enjoys belly rubs and playing with his doggie foster siblings outside, but also appreciates relaxing snuggles on the couch. Being a pup with significant energy, Cowboy would benefit from a fully fenced yard or an active household to help him burn off that youthful exuberance. Training classes are encouraged for all puppies under a year, and Cowboy is already potty trained and crate trained, making him an excellent addition for any family. Because he is still growing, he will be adopted out on a neuter contract, to be arranged at 6 to 12 months of age. If Cowboy sounds like the right match for you, take the first step towards welcoming him into your life! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
