About Duggee
Duggee is a one-year-old mix of Pointer, Lab, and Heeler, weighing in around 50 pounds. He spends his time playing fetch, chasing squirrels, and mixing well with other dogs. Initial meetings with strangers can bring out a bit of shyness in Duggee, but once trust is earned, he becomes warm and affectionate—always ready for a cuddle or a belly rub. Duggee recently bounced back from significant orthopedic surgeries on a front leg, leaving him with a slight bend, but it’s clear this doesn’t hold him back during play or walks. He does best with medium to large dogs, and enjoys the company of older children. Duggee is not suitable for homes with cats. He’s already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained. Duggee is based in Houston, TX and eligible for out-of-state adoption. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
