Meet Cowboy, an adorable young pup waiting to bring joy to his new family! This playful fellow is a mix of Pointer and Labrador Retriever, and he was born to a stray momma dog before being rescued. Cowboy is about 5 months old and currently weighs around 45 pounds, with plenty of room to grow into a medium to large dog, following his mom, who weighs about 60 pounds. Cowboy is friendly and affectionate, getting along splendidly with dogs, cats, and kids alike. His foster mom describes him as a bundle of joy who loves belly rubs and playtime with his furry siblings. He’s already potty and crate trained, which is an added bonus for his future family. To ensure Cowboy gets the exercise he needs, a fully fenced yard or an active lifestyle would be ideal. Owning another dog could be a plus, but it isn’t necessary. Puppy obedience classes are recommended to help him develop into the best companion possible. Cowboy will be neutered between the ages of 6 months to 1 year.
