Meggie, or Meg for short, is a 1.5-year-old pittie mix and truly the whole package. This joyful dog is incredibly friendly, especially with other dogs, and loves having canine companions around. She's playful and sociable but also knows how to relax when it’s time to unwind. Perfect for families, she’s great with kids and currently fosters with them, showcasing her sweet and gentle nature. Meg is housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps soundly in her kennel at night. She behaves like a dream in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys being close to her human and doggie friends. Though she's working on a couple of quirks, like her excitement around people—she tends to forget her manners when greeting new friends—Meg is developing well. At 30 pounds, she’s just the right size to cuddle in your lap while still being active enough for fun. Right now, Meggie is undergoing heartworm treatment, but she’s managing it beautifully. She'll benefit from light exercise as she recovers, something she seems happy to do with her calm demeanor.
