Howard is a dignified senior looking for a quiet place to call home. This charming fellow was brought to the shelter in a bit of a panic but soon started to feel safe among the caring staff, especially when snacks were involved. While he might not be the type for cuddles in pajamas, he has a unique grace—all he needs is some patience and a cozy corner to relax in. A gentle soul, Howard enjoys leisurely walks where he takes his time to sniff everything around him. He's working on gaining some weight and regrowing his fur after a flea allergy, but he's already showing signs of improvement. With a mild heart murmur not requiring medication, he's been neutered, vaccinated, and had a dental checkup. Although he enjoys the company of other mellow dogs, he's content being his own independent self. Howard is house-trained when taken out regularly, and he’s ready to leave behind the tough moments of his past for a serene adoptive family.
