Trigger is a playful 6-month-old male Redbone Coonhound mix, full of energy and personality. Rescued alongside his sister, Stella, he was found wandering in the country, likely left behind by someone unable to care for them. Since arriving at the shelter, Trigger has shown some nervousness but his playful nature is starting to shine through. He hasn't received much training, which means he's not housetrained and doesn’t know commands yet. However, at this young age, he’s ready to learn with an owner committed to providing the time and patience to guide him. Trigger does well with other dogs, but we don't yet know how he interacts with cats or children, so a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure a harmonious home. Being a hound, Trigger comes with a bit of a stubborn streak, so potential adopters should be prepared for his independent nature.
