About Ruru

Meet Ruru, a petite tabby with a big personality and a charming splash of orange on her forehead that resembles a tiny drop of sunshine. While she may be small, Ruru's affection and curiosity make a mighty impact. She recently hit her growth spurt and is eager to explore the world around her. A true companion, Ruru loves to follow her humans from room to room, ensuring she's never far from those she cares about. She expresses her love by grooming her companions, whether they are fellow felines or her human friends. Ruru has thrived in a foster home, showing she is comfortable with both cats and well-mannered dogs. That said, she prefers a home where she won’t be left alone for extended periods; another friendly pet to play and cuddle with would be ideal. Ruru embodies the spirit of her namesake—the ruru, a New Zealand morepork owl. This adult kitty is ready to keep watch over her humans and fill their lives with joy and companionship. If you're searching for a devoted shadow to join you in daily adventures, Ruru might just be the perfect fit.
