Charis recently joined us from Mexico and is thriving in Tucson. This gentle and timid girl, about 3-4 years old, weighs around 16 lbs. She faced a tough start in life after an injury from an attack by three larger dogs, but thankfully, she has completely healed and is doing well now. Charis is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Though she’s still perfecting her leash and housetraining skills, you’ll find her making steady progress each day. Charis is comfortable in a crate and generally avoids mischief. She’d likely thrive in a home with one or two small dogs, as she remains cautious around larger breeds. Recently, she’s begun to play more and come out of her shell in her foster environment. If you feel you could be the right fit for Charis, she would love to meet you.
