About Atlas
Meet Atlas! This 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier is a playful yet gentle companion, weighing around 70 lbs. Atlas has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on his vaccinations. He takes a monthly dose of Simparica Trio for heartworm protection and flea prevention. Luckily, his adoption fee has been sponsored, making it easier for you to bring him into your family. Atlas thrives on human interaction, whether it's car rides, lounging in the yard, or enjoying movie nights on the couch. He loves to play ball and engage in enrichment games. While he is potty trained, he'll feel most comfortable outside of a crate or with the door left ajar. Having another canine friend would be ideal for him, and a fenced-in yard would allow him to let loose! He gets along well with dog-savvy kids but does not get along with cats. Because of his separation anxiety during transition, he would benefit from a family that is home most of the time. This loving dog is currently at the sanctuary, waiting for his forever home.
