About Fletcher

Fletcher, affectionately known as Bubbas by his foster, is a 65-pound pit bull terrier/American Staffordshire terrier mix with real loyalty and a deep fondness for close company. He tends to hang back at first, but once he’s decided you’re his person, you’ve gained a leaner and a sidekick for life. Fletcher is fully house trained, happy to chill in his crate (especially if there’s a treat in it), and at night prefers to sleep right in bed with his foster. Sudden noises startle him—he'll find a quiet corner or slide in behind you for reassurance until things calm down. His playful side comes out in short sprints around a fenced yard and some goofy toy sessions (fetch isn’t mastered yet, but he’s working on it). Walks can wear him out quickly, though he’s working on leash manners and enjoys the routine. Fletcher gets along well with other dogs, cats, and caged small pets. Kids, especially the busy and noisy kind, can make him nervous, so a home with calm, older children or adults is the best fit. A family with a big yard, a relaxed energy, and a spot on the couch would be perfect. If you want an affectionate, gentle, and sometimes silly companion by your side, Fletcher could easily become the highlight of your home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
