He came to us with other Basset/Beagle mixes after being found running together, likely abandoned and without much experience in a home environment. This timid character is still learning to trust and gain confidence, especially when it comes to leash walking. A calm home would suit him perfectly, providing the right environment for him to decompress and adjust at his own pace. We believe having another dog around would benefit Doc greatly, as it could help him learn the ropes. He could also do well with children, given the right circumstances.
