Meet Jordan! Jordan is part of a group of Shih Tzus whose lives changed dramatically when their family was deported, leaving them to fend for themselves in harsh, triple-digit heat. Thankfully, a caring neighbor stepped in to protect them while waiting for rescue. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Orphan Annies Neonatal Rescue and the support of the community, Jordan made his way from north of Austin to San Antonio, where he can finally feel safe. Now, he’s ready for something he has long desired—a loving family to call home. At about 7 months old and weighing just 10 pounds, Jordan is the smallest of his group but has a personality that shines brilliantly. He’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate little soul, who seems to form instant connections with everyone he meets. Jordan is already house trained, though like any young dog, he might have the occasional accident while adjusting to a new routine. A little patience and love will make all the difference for this special boy. After such uncertainty, Jordan looks forward to enjoying the good things: a cozy bed, a secure home, and all the snuggles he deserves.
