About Oliver

Oliver is a striking 2-year, 9-month-old male Border Collie mix with a charming disposition. He boasts a black medium-haired coat, featuring a prominent white patch on his chest, black freckles dotting his white legs, and a long tail capped with a white tip. His expressive dark brown eyes and a splash of white on his muzzle add to his sweet look, complemented by large floppy ears. Originally found on State Route 339 in Vincent, Ohio, Oliver was brought to our shelter in November 2025, quickly capturing the hearts of volunteers and followers. An endearing moment was when he politely begged for donut bites, showcasing his gentle nature. After a brief stint with a foster family, where he was neutered, Oliver was returned due to difficulties in a hectic household with small children. He thrives best in calm environments and is house trained. Oliver is great with other dogs but may require patience when acclimating to new settings and people, as he can be selective and has shown signs of being nippy in intense situations. Oliver is looking for a loving home, ideally with someone who leads a quiet lifestyle. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find his forever friend. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
