About Rita

Rita has a calm and attentive way about her, and at 46 pounds, she fits comfortably in the medium-size range for a dog. She’s around 3 years old and carries herself with a gentle confidence, the result of weathering a tough start after being found alone by the roadside. Rita’s smart nature helps her bond easily, and she gets along with most other dogs and people. However, she isn't suited for homes with cats or small pets. Her fluffy coat and medium-length tail give her an extra dose of character. Rita is spayed, tested for Lyme and heartworm, and up to date on her vaccinations. She’s looking for someone who will appreciate her easygoing nature and good manners. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
