About Gomer

Meet Gomer! This handsome American Bully and Pit Bull Terrier mix is ready to find his forever family. At around 4 years old and weighing 75 pounds, Gomer is a big boy with a lot of strength. He'll thrive with a confident, active family that can handle him well. Given his size, he would do best with older kids, around 13 years and up. Don't let his size fool you; Gomer is a sweetheart. Rescued from a neglectful situation, he has transformed into a happy, affectionate companion. His personality truly shines, and it’s heartwarming to see him enjoying life. While he has lived with other dogs before, we currently recommend a home without other dogs for now, as we need to assess how he interacts with them. Sadly, no cats are suitable for this gentle giant. Gomer is a great kennel keeper and enjoys walks with our volunteers who help manage his strength. He is house-trained and ready to bring love and joy into a new home. Could you be the family he's been looking for? Make their next chapter their best one yet.
