About Skye

Skye has been waiting seven long years for that special family to recognize she belongs with them. This lovely lady has been on her journey since 2019 and has won the hearts of everyone who knows her. Skye shines at events, adored by her foster family and volunteers, and thanks to a sponsorship by Dan Albert - State Farm Agent, her adoption fee is fully covered. You might think her size is a concern, but Skye is an easygoing companion who simply enjoys being close to her people. A professional lounger, she thrives on a comfy couch and loves a good selection of tough chew toys. Watching TV is a favorite pastime—she's known to get completely engrossed when dog shows are on. Skye will alert you with a bark when something interesting happens outside, quickly grabbing her favorite toy as a welcome gesture. She's crate trained, knows her commands, and exhibits excellent house manners, allowing her free roam of the home. While she's playful, she doesn’t demand constant entertainment and is equally content to chill when the day winds down. She'd prefer to be the only pet in her home, showcasing both strength and gentleness, particularly as she settles into a new family.
