Winston is a delightful 6-year-old Golden Retriever searching for a forever home. When he first joined the rescue, he was underweight at just 39.6 pounds, so he needs a loving family to help him reach his healthy goal weight of around 70 pounds. Despite his challenging start, Winston is filled with enthusiasm for life. This playful gentleman loves his walks and toys. One of his charming habits is choosing a stuffed animal before heading out for an adventure. He thrives on human companionship, soaking up affection and attention. Winston is well-mannered, walking beautifully on a leash, riding well in the car, and keeping his kennel clean. He also knows how to sit on command. Winston enjoys playtime and being outdoors but has a sweet side that comes out more in a home environment, where he can relax. While he gets excited when dogs are close to him in the kennel, he tends to calm down quickly during walks. This handsome boy has been neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.
