Meet Sadie! This beautiful, purebred Golden Retriever is approximately 3 years old and weighs 55 pounds. A happy and affectionate girl, she embodies all the classic Golden qualities we adore—sweet, playful, and always eager to join the fun. Sadie came to her current family about a year and a half ago when her previous owners had to move to Germany. Given that her family works full-time and cares for several senior dogs, Sadie has been spending about 12 hours daily in her crate. Although she handles her crate time well, it's not the life for an energetic young Golden like her. Sadie is ready for a home where she can stretch her legs, explore, and be an active part of family life. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and loves car rides. Sadie already knows commands like sit, down, and come, and she's a great listener. At her foster home, she's been wonderful with the resident cat and has enjoyed the company of a Labrador and two Shih Tzus. Sadie's playful nature means she would thrive with a family that appreciates her energy. She enjoys playing ball, going for regular walks, and could benefit from some training on the leash, but she's smart and eager to learn. Despite her happy demeanor, Sadie has a sweet coping strategy for thunderstorms—she retreats to her crate for comfort. She's spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative, ready for her new adventure.
