Maya is a large mixed breed dog who was found on August 11, 2026, at 6th Ave & Washington St. in Eugene. She came into the shelter already spayed, and the staff is giving her some time to acclimate to this new environment. While Maya is adjusting, the behavior team and veterinary staff will evaluate her needs to help her thrive. Currently, Maya is not available for adoption as she is still under observation, and the shelter is working to locate her original family.
