Caramel Truffle is a lovely Labrador Retriever mix from Tennessee in search of a forever home. At two years old, this spayed and vaccinated girl is already house trained and a delightful companion. She enjoys being close to her human, cuddling, receiving ear scratches, and is quite treat motivated. Caring for Caramel has revealed her fun personality. She has proven to be well-behaved; during her first bath, she remained calm and didn’t try to escape. After just a few days in her foster home, she has adjusted remarkably well, even starting to initiate play with other dogs. Caramel is learning to walk better on a leash and tends to signal her need to go outside by approaching the back door. While she gets along with dogs, her interactions with cats are still uncertain, as her feline housemate is hiding from her. Caramel doesn’t seem to be afraid of thunder and settles well in her kennel, though she may bark a bit at bedtime before sleeping through the night.
