Meet Jake, a young and spirited Great Pyrenees. He recently took part in a transformative road trip with over 80 other adoptable pups, and now he's ready to find his forever home in Savage, MN. Jake dreams of playing in the snow, yearning for those cold weather adventures that suit his 85-pound frame perfectly. Currently in a foster home with two resident dogs, he has adapted well to family life. Jake walks well on a leash, preferring a leisurely pace to a hurried one. He’s calm and relaxed, enjoying the little things in life. A gentleman at heart, he sleeps soundly in his kennel and is fully house trained. Though he can be a bit shy around men initially, patience and treats help him warm up quickly. Plus, he’s fresh off a spa day, looking his best and ready to charm potential adopters. Jake is currently heartworm positive, but he's on a treatment plan provided by the rescue. He's not under exercise restrictions and just needs monthly preventative until he tests negative.
