About OTTO calm
Meet Otto. He’s about 7 months old and possibly a mix of German Shepherd and Lab or Black Mouth Cur, though he has traits from many breeds. When fully grown, he’s expected to reach around 40 lbs. Otto is adored by his foster family, who describe him as tender, affectionate, and full of happy energy. His intelligence shines through; he's eager to learn and responds well to commands. His love for food makes him highly trainable, and he’s not food aggressive at all—showing trust when his bowl is taken mid-meal. Handling is no problem for him. His foster has groomed him and touched his paws with ease, and he enjoys the attention. Otto is known to instigate playtime with fellow dogs and greets his foster family with enthusiasm every time they come home. He also gets along well with cats, displaying curiosity but respecting their boundaries when they’ve had enough. Given his gentle nature, he would likely thrive with children, making introductions a perfect fit at this stage in his life. Currently, Otto is in Puerto Rico and will fly to his forever home upon adoption. He can be transported to numerous states along the East Coast, beginning in Miami and heading up to Virginia.
