About Rita Don't Pass
Meet Margarita, a 16.2-pound puppy with a gentle, sweet nature. At about four months old, she’s expected to reach 40–50 lbs as an adult. Her mom’s a husky mix, and her dad, Nubz, is a shepherd mix—both described as affectionate. Margarita plays well with other dogs and shows a friendly curiosity. There’s clearly some of that energetic puppy spark, but she doesn’t tip into hyperactive territory. She spends her days playfully darting around the yard with toys or other dogs, always up for activity but easy to redirect. Her manners and temperament make her a comfortable fit for a home with children. Margarita is also house trained, which takes some work off your plate. For now, she’s in Puerto Rico, but plans are in place to fly her to Annapolis by late May 2025, with options for direct flights to many East Coast airports if needed. Foster-to-adopt is on the table for those wanting to get to know her first. Margarita is playful, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for a committed adopter who will provide the routine and fulfillment a young dog needs. Click apply to start the adoption process.
