About Jerry

Meet Jerry, a lovely lab mix currently living in a foster home in Louisiana. He's one of the resilient souls who was surrendered alongside others, left behind when most of his companions were taken in by a breed-specific rescue. But that's just the beginning of Jerry's story. At around 8 or 9 years old, Jerry is the senior gentleman of the group. After successfully completing heartworm treatment, he’s ready to discover what it's like to have a loving family. Easygoing and sweet, he’s spent time mingling with dogs of all sizes and gets along well with everyone he meets. His ideal future doesn't involve excitement or energy; instead, Jerry yearns for a warm family, comfortable beds, delicious meals, and gentle affection in his golden years. After all this time waiting for a true home, he deserves the chance to experience love and care fully. Jerry wants his next home to be forever, filled with luxury and love. Who's ready to make this sweet senior their new best friend? Please note, all our dogs come from Louisiana, and we require adopters to live within a 60-mile radius of Long Island to ensure we can offer continued support.
