Minnie is a senior Papillon/Dachshund mix who’s been on an inspiring journey. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was morbidly obese, struggling even with simple movements. Thanks to her dedicated care, she's made remarkable progress—from walking short distances to doing little happy hops at mealtime and even spinning around with excitement. She still gets winded but is now able to navigate steps on her own, a huge improvement from needing assistance. Minnie is a delightful companion, easily getting along with children and other pets. Remarkably, she’s 100% potty trained with zero accidents since day one. She doesn’t bark much, making her an excellent addition to any home. Though Minnie has some lingering challenges with hygiene due to her size, her spirit shines brightly, and it’s time for her to find a loving forever home.
