Minnie is a senior Papillon/Dachshund mix who has made remarkable strides since joining our rescue. Once morbidly obese, she was having trouble getting in and out of her dog bed, but with dedicated care, she's on a journey to better health. Now, she walks short distances and even performs joyful little spins when it's suppertime. While she still gets winded, seeing her tackle the porch steps is a heartwarming accomplishment. Although Minnie contends with vaginitis due to her weight, we are committed to improving her situation. Minnie is an absolute delight. She gets along wonderfully with kids and other pets, doesn’t bark, and is 100% house trained—zero accidents since day one. Her loving nature and gentle spirit make her a fantastic companion. Now that she’s enjoying life to the fullest, it's time for her to find her forever home. Minnie is currently in Bryan, Texas, but distance won't be a barrier; we provide nationwide transport at no extra cost. Let’s give this sweet girl the loving family she deserves!
