Minnie DC is a senior Papillon/Dachshund mix who has truly transformed since arriving at our rescue. Initially morbidly obese, she struggled with simple tasks, but with dedicated care, she has made remarkable progress. Minnie can now walk short distances, jumps happily at dinner time, and even trots around the yard, showcasing her newfound energy and joy. Though she still deals with some vaginitis due to her past weight issues, we’re committed to improving her health further. This lovely girl is wonderfully easy to love. She gets along with kids and other pets, doesn’t bark excessively, and is 100% potty trained—absolutely no accidents at all! Minnie is a delight to watch as she spins around with happiness, and now it’s time to find her a forever home.
