Meet Taylor, aka TayTay. TayTay is the loving mama of the Eras Litter. While she still cares for her puppies, we’re eager to find her forever home so she can settle in as soon as they’re ready for their new lives. Now, let’s discuss her adorable underbite. This scruffy terrier face is hard to resist, especially when those little teeth peek out. It's endearing and adds to her unique charm. Beneath that sweet face is a girl still figuring out the world. Rescued from a hoarding situation, many ordinary experiences are new for her. While she may be nervous and cautious, TayTay isn't nippy or reactive. When something scares her, she typically prefers to freeze or hide instead of getting aggressive. The good news is that she’s made significant strides in just three weeks. Initially, she wouldn’t come near me, but now she happily wags her tail and seeks out affection, even giving kisses. Each day, she reveals more of the loving companion we know she can be. TayTay requires an adopter who understands that building trust is a gradual process and will let her set the pace. We believe that once her mothering duties are done and she finds a responsible, loving home, she’ll grow even more confident. Given her sensitivity, a quieter home with adults or older, respectful children would suit her best. She doesn’t need special training; just patience and kindness will do. TayTay deserves someone who celebrates her progress and shows her the joys of life. As she’s still nursing her puppies, she will stay with them for another 2-4 weeks. We hope to have her future family lined up so she can transition straight into her new life when the time comes. TayTay has raised her little ones, and now it’s her turn to flourish.
