Pig Pen is a spirited young dog currently with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas. This fellow, with a head like a cinderblock and a grin that could light up the room, joined our program in quite a memorable way—he jumped right into our street team’s truck, eager to escape the streets. Though he came to us with some wounds on his ears, they are healing beautifully, and he’s ready to gain a few pounds on his journey to health. Weighing in at about 60 lbs, he’s a strong boy who definitely acts like a lapdog, despite his size. Pig Pen has shown potential for getting along with other dogs, having been found with a small pack, and though he’s not yet been tested with cats, we're ready to conduct that test for interested adopters. He displays some good signs of housetraining, keeping a spotless kennel while with us. This playful and affectionate companion will thrive in a home that can keep him both physically and mentally engaged. He certainly has the cleverness to match his charming looks.
