Meet Ruby. Ruby is a lovely Great Dane and Labrador Retriever mix, around 4 years old. Her journey started back in November 2023 when she arrived as a stray. She spent nearly a year waiting for someone to recognize her potential as a sweet, loving companion. Finally, she found her forever family, or so we thought. Sadly, Ruby has returned to us due to her adopter's unforeseen health issues. After having a home, a family, and a sense of belonging, it's heartbreaking to see her back in a kennel. Ruby is understandably nervous. She’s trying to understand why she’s been uprooted again, but deep down, she remains the same affectionate girl who once thrived in a family environment. Ruby is house trained, crate trained, and enjoys car rides. She adores walks, although she tends to take the lead! She has previously interacted well with other dogs too. What she truly needs now is stability, patience, and the reassurance that this time, she is really home. Adopting Ruby means committing to her through life's ups and downs. Let’s make sure Ruby’s next chapter is one of love and lasting commitment, as she deserves nothing less.
