About Skip
Skip is a unique young dog who has already faced numerous challenges in his short life. Born with deformed back legs and no paws, Skip stands out not just for his appearance but for his resilient spirit. Estimated to be around 10 months old, he was found living with over 30 other dogs on a property in Yakima. Our dedicated rescue partners intervened just in time, ensuring Skip and his brother Pogo would not face a grim fate at a local shelter. Despite arriving from such difficult beginnings, Skip is learning to navigate life outside of survival mode. Though he’s unfamiliar with home life, he is remarkably sweet and responsive, showing that with patience and tenderness, he can blossom into a cherished companion. While he’s still learning about the world, Skip gets along well with other dogs and deserves a patient adopter ready to guide him in his journey. This incredible pup is prepared for a fresh start and simply needs a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
