Howie resembles a little mogwai from Gremlins and has a gentle demeanor. He’s ready for a new home, having lived comfortably with a family before. This adaptable little guy is good with dogs, cats, and older children, which makes him a fantastic companion. He’s housetrained but benefits from a belly band to manage occasional marking. Howie enjoys leisurely strolls on a leash and is calm during car rides. Although he has dry eyes that require long-term drops, he manages well and loves to explore. His limited vision doesn't hinder him; he happily sniffs around the backyard and navigates the house, even conquering a few stairs. Howie would thrive in a peaceful environment with another dog and plenty of short walks. He enjoys sunshine and grass, making a fenced yard ideal. This senior boy is independent and appreciates structure. It’s important to give him time to adjust in his new home, especially during overnight transitions.
