Holden is a young Australian Kelpie mix in urgent need of a rescue, foster, or forever home. At just two years old, he’s ready to settle into a space where he can rest, recover from a minor, temporary illness, and thrive. Currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter since July 21, 2026, Holden is hoping to find a loving place. He has a mix of apricot, beige, black, and brown colors and sports a short coat that adds to his handsome appearance. As a friendly boy, Holden would make a great companion. The Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) partners with this shelter to help at-risk dogs like Holden.
