Nala is a young, medium-sized, spayed female with Australian Kelpie and Shepherd in her background. She is house trained, has up-to-date vaccinations, and is currently living in Bakersfield, CA. Nala’s early experiences make her a bit reserved at first, but she’s ready for a committed and loving home.

About Nala

Nala and her brother Simba got their start in tough conditions, found as tiny puppies abandoned in a box outside an empty house far from anyone in Bakersfield. Someone caring stepped in before things got worse, making sure the pups got the chance they deserved. Nala was adopted once, but life had other plans and she’s back now looking for stability. She can be a little shy at first, but stick around and you’ll see a real affectionate side. Nala is drawn to closeness and loves nothing more than curling up beside her person. Her playful side comes alive when it’s time for a splash in the pool. She’s comfortable in a crate and is fully potty trained, making for an easy transition into a new household. Nala gets along well with other dogs and is just waiting for a family who values loyalty and a warm presence at home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
