Meet Max! Max is a spirited Boston Terrier about 5 years old, weighing in at 20 lbs. He must live in the Pacific Northwest to be eligible for adoption. This little guy has a lot of personality packed into his small frame. Neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, and up to date on vaccinations, Max is in great health. He loves being part of the family and has strong affection for those who take the time to get to know him. Max gets excited about his favorite toys—balls, spiky bones, and anything that squeaks. His top treat is Kong spray cheese, and he enjoys playing "Find It!" during his walks. Max is an affectionate and playful companion who thrives on routine. Although he may seem sensitive at first, once he settles in, his goofy side shines brightly. He adores snuggling, car rides, and showering his humans with puppy kisses. His training is going well; he knows cues like "sit," "down," and "kiss kiss," and he remains non-destructive at home. A calm and patient home is what Max needs, ideally with understanding humans who appreciate the unique traits of Boston Terriers. Max would prefer to be the only pet because of his high prey drive, so no cats or small animals, please. He can be shy around new experiences, so a quiet environment with a secure yard is ideal. Older, respectful children are okay, but homes with young kids are not recommended. Max has made incredible strides in his foster care, having worked closely with his support team for additional comfort and confidence. Now that his health issues are under control, he is eager to bond and share love with the right family.
