About Sunshine
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Sunshine! Her golden and brindle coloring truly reflects her sunny disposition and the bright smile she always wears. Sunshine is a medium-sized, 65 lb lap dog who brings an endearing mix of big-dog confidence and the spirit of a small-dog companion. She does well with other dogs her size, and she especially loves the young girl in her current home, sharing a special bond together. Unfortunately, due to her owner's medical challenges, Sunshine needs a new family who can give her the attention and care she deserves. Sunshine's ideal household would include children aged 13 or older, as she may be a bit much for younger kids. While she gets along with dogs, she thinks cats are for chasing, so a cat-free home is a must. Sunshine enjoys her walks and trips to the beach but prefers the comfort of home and being with her people. She is eager to find a new loving family to brighten their days! POPP offers a foster-to-adopt program where you and Sunshine can spend time together to ensure it's a perfect match before finalizing adoption. Your new best friend is just one click away.
