Thankfully, their landlord stepped in to ensure their safety and happiness. Beefy is a 4.5-year-old neutered male who weighs around 18 pounds. When he first arrived, he had trouble getting around due to severely displaced kneecaps, a condition known as bilateral medial patellar luxation. After undergoing successful surgery on both knees, Beefy has made remarkable progress. While he'll never completely regain a normal gait, he's much more comfortable now and thriving in his foster home. This gentle soul enjoys the simple pleasures of life, especially relaxing on a cozy dog bed with his people. He’s dog and cat-friendly, and while he prefers lounging over chasing, he loves trying to befriend the resident cat. Beefy needs a home that matches his relaxed lifestyle, ideally one without stairs. He won't be a long-distance walking companion but rather a homebody who enjoys a peaceful routine filled with love. He's potty trained, though he occasionally may have an overnight accident.
