Francine is a 4.5-year-old spayed female French Bulldog who is pure sweetness through and through. She was rescued in the Sacramento area after being found out on a rainy night and has since overcome quite a bit: surgery for a rectal prolapse, as well as a second surgery for an ectopic ureter that caused urine leakage. She got top-notch care at UC Davis, and today, Francine is healthy and thriving—her spirit never wavered throughout it all. Francine’s happiest moments are spent curled up with her people, preferably snuggled in bed or on the couch. She’s affectionate, gentle, and quick to warm up to everyone she meets. Francine gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making her a good fit for a family or a multi-pet household. She’s fully house trained and crate trained, but will always choose time with her human when offered. Currently, Francine does best on a prescription urinary diet (RC Urinary S/O) and should remain on it to support her long-term health.
