Meet Henry! This young Border Terrier/Schnauzer mix is about a year old and weighs a manageable 23 pounds. He’s the perfect "schmedium" size, ready for lots of adventures. For almost two months, Henry braved the streets of a small town in Southeast Louisiana. Rescuers spent quite a bit of time trying to catch him; he was understandably frightened and hesitant to trust anyone. Thankfully, he was finally contained and brought to a foster home that has truly transformed his life. After receiving appropriate veterinary care, Henry is now free from fleas and ticks, and his skin is healing nicely. He’s fully house trained, whether using a doggy door or going out regularly.
