About Bea
Meet Jilly Bean, the Spicy Little Princess! At about 13 years old and weighing around six pounds, Jilly Bean showcases that great personality often comes in a small package. This little Chihuahua arrived at Lionel's Legacy quite sick, even needing to travel with an IV catheter. Thanks to the exceptional care at the Free to Chew Clinic, she made a full recovery. After a dental procedure, she's lost a few teeth but gained much-needed weight, blossoming into a healthy six-pound bundle of sass. Due to her tiny size and past experiences, Jilly Bean can be wary of humans and is quick to protect herself. She thoughtfully asserts her boundaries but beneath her spicy demeanor lies a desire to trust. Once she warms up, she'll approach you for affection on her own terms; earning a loving snuggle from her feels rewarding. When she's not building her confidence, Jilly Bean acts like a social butterfly with other dogs, getting along fabulously with canines of all sizes. With her energetic little trot, she's always on the move at the Rock House, and she's a big fan of treats and mealtime! Jilly Bean seeks a patient and understanding home that respects her boundaries and takes things slowly. If you're ready to earn the heart of a spicy, resilient senior, Jilly Bean is looking to trot into your life! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
