Meet Marco, an 18-month-old mix of Border Collie and Australian Shepherd weighing around 40 pounds and sporting a coat of adorable fluff. This loyal and slightly clumsy pup thrives on companionship; he’s happiest when he’s near his people. Marco has a moderate energy level and adores playtime with his family. He enjoys relaxing outdoors, soaking up the sun while watching his favorite show, Bunny TV, as well as cuddling with his humans. He has recently discovered the joy of toys, and his silly playstyle is hard to resist. Though Marco can be shy when meeting new people, he warms up when given the space and patience to do so. He can benefit from a family who will help him build his confidence without overwhelming him. An ideal home would have a securely fenced yard where he can explore and feel safe. While he gets along well with the cats in his foster home, he must not live with free-range chickens, and a calm dog friend could be a great match after proper introductions. Mature children who understand his sensitivity to loud noises are welcome, as Marco is housebroken and enjoys a quiet crate when alone.
