About Sully
Meet Sully, a two-year-old male Great Pyrenees who is nothing short of a gentle giant. Currently located in a loving foster home in Houston, TX, he’s ready for his forever family. Recently found as a stray in an area notorious for dog dumping, it’s hard to believe anyone would let go of such a perfect pup. Sully weighs 73 pounds, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His friendly demeanor shines through as he interacts well with other dogs of all ages and sizes in his foster home. With a moderate energy level, he loves playing but is equally content to snuggle up for some downtime. While he hasn’t been tested with cats yet, he has a track record of being gentle with smaller animals, like the Chihuahua he currently lives with. This good boy has been around teenagers and is adept at handling their energy. Because of his size, homes with children aged 8 and up might be ideal. On walks, he’s great on a leash; after an initial excitement, he settles down nicely. Fully potty trained, Sully does well with free roaming while his foster mom is at work, opting for cozy couch naps until she returns. Sully is known for sharing well with his furry friends, displaying a kind and sociable nature. His foster mom describes him perfectly as a friendly, adaptable companion who loves being included in all activities. Whether it’s a car ride or a game of tug-o-war, Sully’s happy-go-lucky attitude makes him a delightful adventure buddy.
