About Marvin

Marvin is a spunky little Chihuahua ready for adoption through St. Louis Senior Dog Project once he's all healed from his vetting. This six-pound dynamo was rescued from an abandoned trailer, where he ran with a crew of feral chihuahuas, giving him a unique perspective on life. Despite being a senior, he's got plenty of energy, bravely chasing the resident cats and confidently facing off with the pit bull in his foster home. His bravado is amusing, especially since he only has six teeth left after dental surgery; they haven't slowed him down one bit. Marvin is house trained and excels in his crate, reliably using potty pads. He prefers an indoor lifestyle, as he can be a flight risk outside. He enjoys walks, but he'd much rather be carried in his foster mom's pouch, living the life of a pampered pet. Ideally, Marvin needs a calm home with no children, as high energy and loud sounds are overwhelming for him. While he has a manageable heart murmur and some age-related conditions, these don't deter him from enjoying life. If you appreciate quirky personalities and spicy seniors who proudly wear their quirks, Marvin Gardens is looking for a special someone to share his joy and charm. Ready to meet your new best friend?
