AvailableNoah is a young, male Great Pyrenees with a medium build. His grooming needs are important due to his unique coat, and though his weight isn’t specified, he benefits from regular grooming. Noah is altered and has a lovely temperament. He’s situated in Powell, OH, and is eager for a loving home.
About Noah
Noah is a sweet, wiggly boy who brings joy wherever he goes, but he's still learning about his size! He's working on his jumping and leash manners, and while he's making progress, he often thinks he's a lap dog. Noah likes to keep you company, always following a step behind to 'help' with your activities. He needs a home ready to continue his training. Given his strength and exuberance, a family with children aged 10 and older would suit him best, and he's not a match for homes with elderly or fragile individuals. Although he’s not intentionally dangerous, he does have a tendency to pull during walks and zoom around gleefully! Noah's fur was a bit rough when rescued, so he’s sporting a unique haircut, but he’s very tolerant of grooming, which is important to maintain his lovely coat. He also behaves well at vet visits. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, showing gentleness and playfulness. While he hasn't met any cats face-to-face, his calm demeanor around the clinic cat suggests he might be fine with them too. If needed, I can arrange a cat test before adoption. Noah spent much of his life outside, so he’s still figuring out indoor potty habits. He’s learned to go outside to poop but sometimes has accidents when it comes to peeing. He tries to signal by going to the door and only goes inside if he’s not let out in time. For now, he needs supervision and is confined to a comfortable 5x5 kennel when unsupervised. Although he came in with his sister Destiny, they aren't particularly bonded and could be adopted separately without issue; however, they’d also happily go home together.
