Black Velvet is at our Dog Rescue in Puerto Rico and ready to start her next chapter. Once she finds her family, she can easily fly to Philadelphia, Morristown, New Jersey, or Boston to meet you. At just 18 months old and around 39 pounds, Black Velvet was found dumped on a beach, desperate for care. She was in rough shape, weighing only 20 pounds when rescued, but her spirit never wavered. This lovely girl is now healthy, full of life, and vibrant. Black Velvet loves people and has a special fondness for children. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her an ideal companion. Her gentle and affectionate nature ensures she quickly becomes everyone's best friend. Whether adventuring or simply relaxing by your side, she's a joy to have around. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.
