About Sorelle
Some dogs need a little extra time to blossom, and Sorelle is one of those souls. Rescued with her outgoing sister, Sorelle hung back, keeping to herself and slowly learning to trust this new world. While her sister found a home, Sorelle has taken longer—showing her gentle side only after plenty of patient care. She’s still shy, and she won’t rush to greet you, but given patience and consistency, she’ll follow you anywhere. What Sorelle really needs is a calm home, a securely fenced yard to explore, and someone who can give her the quiet, steady love she’s looking for. The kind of love that doesn’t shout, but whispers and grows stronger each day. At roughly 2 years old and weighing 38 lbs, Sorelle is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on preventatives for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. She currently lives in Puerto Rico, but after adoption, she’ll fly to Newark, NJ, where her new family can pick her up. Transport help is sometimes available, but adopters able to pick up in person are ideal. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
