Some hearts take a little longer to bloom — and Sorrell is one of them. Rescued alongside her bold and bubbly sister Nina, Sorrell hung back in the shadows, unsure of this big new world. While Nina quickly spread her wings and found her forever, Sorrell stayed behind… taking her time, learning to trust, slowly showing us her gentle soul. With the help of patient love (and a little Steve magic ), Sorrell has started to come out of her shell. She’s still shy — the kind of dog that won’t race into your arms but will one day follow you to the ends of the earth. What Sorrell needs is time. A quiet home. A securely fenced yard where she can safely explore the world at her pace. Most of all, she needs someone who understands that love isn’t always loud — sometimes it whispers. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. Sorrell is presently in Puerto Rico. Once adopted she will fly to Newark, NJ.
