Meet Smiley! This sweet, affectionate girl is a 3-year-old spayed Great Pyrenees weighing in at 57 lbs. Smiley has truly come into her own while living in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever family. She’s crate trained and does well in her crate, and she’s also potty trained, although she’s still learning how to signal when she needs to go outside. At night, she sleeps peacefully on a dog bed beside her foster family. Being close to her humans is one of Smiley's favorite things. She loves to cuddle on the couch and showers her loved ones with kisses. Having been raised around a toddler, she does wonderfully with kids! While she enjoys playing with toys, her appetite is particular; she likes her kibble with a touch of water to make mealtime a treat. As a fantastic walking companion, Smiley walks nicely on a leash but needs a firm hold, especially when there are birds or rabbits nearby that may catch her eye! While she loves exploring the outdoors, she also knows how to settle down in the house. Smiley has lived with cats, requiring a dog-savvy feline who can set boundaries. She's made friends with the resident dog in her foster home, showcasing her potential to adapt and bond with other pets given the needed time and patience. Smiley is a delightful pup who thrives on outdoor activity and companionship. She’s eager to join a family that will embark on adventures and continue to nurture her loving spirit.
