He's playful and energetic, thriving on wrestling with other cats, spending time with cat-friendly dogs, or soaking up all the attention from the teenagers in his foster home. If you want a fun, affectionate companion with a big personality, Charlie is your guy. Charlie's journey to this point hasn’t been simple. He was found as a stray after going through a trap-neuter-return (TNR) program. The kind-hearted folks who cared for him noticed a serious wound under his front leg and rushed him to a vet for treatment. After multiple surgeries didn’t fully work, it was clear he needed specialized long-term care. Enter Community Cat Network. Charlie is FIV-positive, which doesn’t hinder his happy life but extended his healing process. His wound needed to heal naturally, taking nearly 14 weeks and requiring dedicated care and daily treatments. Charlie, however, was an exceptional patient, endearing himself to everyone he met. He loved vet visits, handled treatments like a champ, and charmed all with his gentle, trusting nature. Now fully healed and ready for the next chapter, Charlie is eager for a family to call his own.
